Gary King has been in the entertainment business since he was 11 and has chalked up more than 50 continuous years in the music industry. That small fact in itself gives “Kingy” a distinct advantage in the entertainment game. Having learned guitar through the 60’s and 70’s, he developed a love for a wide variety of music including rock, pop, country and blues which he still draws from today along with plenty of recent tunes, which makes him popular across all age groups. He was tutored by the legendary Lou Cash (of the Dee Jays, who were the late Johnny O’Keefe’s touring band) and made many TV appearances through his teens. He was a long-standing member of the Moe Award winning country rock band “Grand Junction”, the internationally renowned Eagles tribute band “New Kids In Town”, and the outstanding “Cactus Brothers” Country Rock duo. Drawing from the styles of guitar legends such as Mark Knopfler, Hank Marvin, Joe Walsh, Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Fogarty, Gary Moore and David Gilmour just to name a few, and covering rock, pop, country and blues, “Kingy” has put together virtually an A to Z repertoire of genuine classics by the world’s most popular artists.
