Dan Webster is at the forefront of the British Americana movement - his heart is steeped in American roots, but his DNA is all traditional English folk. As such, his music probably about as close to 'authentic' Americana as anything coming out of Texas or Nashville.
In the past few years, Dan has performed at just about every folk and country festival across the UK and drawn rave reviews from the still-vibrant British music press. In the words of RnR magazine: "Dan Webster’s subtle exploration of the human heart resonated with me after each spin of his fine new record... which draws assuredly on folk and country roots from across the Atlantic but remains assertively northern English".
On this, his first Australian tour, Dan will be joined by the mercurial Emily Lawler on fiddle and vocals. At just twenty-three, Emily has already established herself as a player of rare musicality and maturity and has played on records for artists from all over the world (including our own Lachlan Bryan and The Wildes)
