Uralla-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jhana Allan launches her brand new EP, Passing Shadow, in late September- early October. This suite of haunting songs digs deep into her experience; leaving Melbourne for her hometown in Northern NSW in the wake of deep personal loss, reflected by the surrounding drought. Running through her songs is a deep reverence for nature and an almost elemental quality of melancholy. Her new songs range from impressionistic folk artistry to up-beat slacker-rock.
