This father-daughter duo has been singing songs together since Matt still had hair and Laura was just figuring out how to walk.
Matt, an innovative singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, bought Laura her first guitar when she was eight. He took her to gigs, taught her how to roll guitar leads and would get her up on stage to sing her favourite song “Dolphin’s Cry” by Live.
Laura has since moved on from writing songs about her Maths homework (it was a song about Prisms to be precise) and is now focused on writing and touring her debut cabaret, The Soul Express.
Laura and Matt have played music together in Australia and the USA, have written songs for their respective grandparents, featured on each other’s albums and love any chance they get to catch up, share a yarn, a beer and a good tune.
Expect to be entertained, expect the unexpected and come and be a part of something that is really quite special.
