Influenced by the outlaw country greats and the poetry of Dylan, Riley Phillips is a talented singer-song writer who is all about raw and rich vocals, a catchy melody and an honest story. As a former lead guitarist for Melbourne-based Americana band The Wild Comforts, Riley branched out on a solo career last year and has teamed up with Bill Chambers to produce his debut EP, Crawling Trains.

Riley’s song writing encompasses the pain of heartbreak, the truth of a sad story and the freedom of the road. With song titles like She Didn’t Know My Name and Road We Call Where, you’re sure to reminisce on some kind of past pain in these lyrics. Riley Phillips is taking country to the heartbreak it was made for.
